Shipping Policies

Free Shipping
On all orders over $99 that are shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states.
We are unable to offer free shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and international destinations.

Processing & Cut off times
Most orders will ship the same day by 2:00 p.m. MST
Order received after 2:00 p.m. MST will ship the next business day.
We do not process orders on Saturdays, Sundays and on national holidays.
Orders will be processed and shipped pending credit card authorization.

Delay Shipments
Design-Tec Office Products cannot be responsible for shipping delays due to
a declined credit card, incorrect billing or shipping address provided through our website,
or delays caused by any reason beyond our control.

Lead times
May vary based on carrier shipping practices, delivery location and items you order.
Products may be delivered in separate shipments, which may effect delivery time.
We'll do our best to ship everything to you at once.

APO/FPO Shipments
Ship to APO/FPO addresses via US Postal Service.
please allow additional time for delivery from the APO/FPO to the recipient.
Once it has been delivered to the APO/FPO, Design-Tec Office Products is not responsible for the package, nor can we track shipment of the package.
APO/FPO orders DO NOT qualify for free freight and may be charged additional freight. The cost of APO/FPO orders will be assessed after the transaction is captured.

Non-USPS Items
Items that exceed USPS limitations (over 70 pounds or 108" girth/height) will be shipped to a freight forwarder for transshipment to the final destination. Additional freight charges will be assessed on these shipments.

Non-UPS Items
Products that do not meet the 150Lb UPS.limit will be shipped by a private freight carrier. Private freight carriers will generally deliver in 3-4 business days barring any unforeseen delays. Private freight carriers will not guarantee time of delivery.

P.O. Box Destinations
We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes and an alternative ship to address will have to be provided by the customer.

Shipment Refusal
Orders originally shipped and refused will be assessed an additional shipping charge for the reshipment of the order.

Shipping Charges
Most shipping charges are assessed by weight. Dimensional weight pricing is applicable on a per package basis on all shipments which exceed one cubic foot. If the dimensional weight exceeds the actual weight, charges based on the dimensional weight will be assessed and the customer will be informed of such charges.

Order Tracking
We will attempt to notify you via email when your order has shipped. Most carriers will include shipment tracking information within the notification.

General Return Policies

  • All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Dtops.com Service Department.
  • Defective or damaged items can be returned within 30 days of receiving the order. We will refund you 100% of the charge of the product (excluding shipping and handling charges).
  • Incorrect item ordered or changed your mind on and order can be returned at your expense within 30 days of receiving the order; we may have to charge a 15% restocking fee.
  • Opened laser printers, inkjet printers and fax machines may be exchanged within 30 days of your product's shipping date, for the same item only. No refunds are available for these items, if opened. Exchanges may be allowed on some hardware items.
  • All consumable or medical items are non-returnable and non-refundable whether factory sealed or opened.
  • Refurbished or reconditioned products come with a 30-day defective-only guarantee and are sold "AS IS." We do not guarantee replacement.
    Non-defective returns will be shipped at the customer's expense.
  • We must receive the returned package within 14 business days of the RMA issue date.
  • Discontinued items are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • All products are sold with the respective manufacturer's warranties.
  • The customer assumes responsibility for insuring returned items.
  • No returns will be accepted without original packing material and documentation.
  • All items must be returning in "new" condition including all accessories, blank warranty cards, UPC codes (attached), and user manuals.
  • Opened non-defective returns are not always approved for return.

    Exceptions
    Please note that certain manufacturers require that they handle their damaged or defective products themselves.


Requesting A Product Return

    Please provide the following information:
    * Item being returned
    * Original order number (if possible)
    * Reason for return
    * Your name and daytime phone number

  2. Once approved, we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). No unauthorized returns will be accepted.
    We offers a 30-day money back guarantee for merchandise subject to manufacturer and/or Dtops.com policies.
    After 30 days, the manufacturer's warranty process prevails. All returns must be in "as-new" condition; in original packaging with the UPC or bar code intact complete with manuals, registration cards, and accessories.

  4. Once the product has been received, inspected/tested, we will refund you 100% of the charge of the product (excluding shipping and handling charges).

Crediting Your Refund
A credit will be issued within 3 business days of receipt of your return to the account that was originally charged. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
